RULES

General Rules

The administrators have the right to decide outside or even against the rulebook in special cases to guarantee fairplay.

Code of conduct

Every participant has to behave with respect towards the GAVRA ESports admins and the other players. This applies to behavior in-game and also in chats, messengers, comments and other media. We expect players to conduct themselves according to the following values:

  • Integrity: be honest, be committed, play fair.
  • Respect: show respect all other humans, including teammates, competitors, and event staff.

The violation of the code of conduct will result in penalty points. In the case of continuous violations of the rules, the penalties may include disqualification or banning from the future GAVRA ESports events.

Insults and offensive behaviours

All insults that happen during a GAVRA ESports match or on the GAVRA ESports platform, will be punished. This includes ingame chat of the corresponding game, forums, matches or news-comments, GAVRA ESports messages, match-chat. Insults that happen on external messengers are not taken into account.

Spamming

Advertising other sites or channels and the excessive posting of futile and annoying contents within the GAVRA ESports is considered as spamming. Spamming on the website (forums, match comments, player comments, etc) is penalized as follows:

  • 1 penalty point + 1 week comment ban for the first spamming incident.
  • 2 penalty points + 2 week comment ban for the second spamming incident.
  • 3 penalty points + 3 week comment ban for the third and any further spamming incidents.

Offensive comments and contents will be severely punished.

Matches And competitions

Every encounter must be played according to the rules until it is complete. Any encounter that did not take place, should be cancelled. Matches that did not take place will be considered fake matches and will be punished.

Players and teams that are already qualified for or participating in an event are not allowed to participate in any of its ongoing or upcoming qualifiers. In the case of a player or team breaching this rule, they will be disqualified from the current qualifier and may face further punishment, up to and including disqualification from the event.

CHEATING

All forms of cheating in GAVRA ESports matches are forbidden and will be penalized by the admins. By breaking any rule a player risks to be completely excluded from a specific league or from all leagues. This also includes their team.

Discord ACCOUNT

A GAVRA ESport Account can be created on Discord. It’s required that players use the same ID they use on PSN. Each player must only have one account on Discord. If a player can’t access his account and then creates a new one, then he/she must write to the GAVRA ESports admins.

TEAMS

Players can create a team into our website (visit the page Create a Team), with their friends or by searching players into our Discord channel. Every team has a leader who’s generally the person who created it. In order to participate in events or tournaments a team must have a:

  • name
  • logo
  • players

A team’s name does not have to be unique, but we reserve the right to refuse teams with the same or similar names. The logo must represent the team and have some reference to the team’s name. A team can change its name at any time but it has to be comunicated to the admins. A player can only play for one team in a tournament.

Players and teams license

Each team and player within GAVRA ESPORTS has a virtual license that takes into account the breaches committed. At the begin, teams will have 12 points on their license while players have 6 points. For each breach committed, points will be deducted according to the gravity of the offense.

PENALTY POINTS

If a player receives a point penalty on his license, this will be applied also to the team’ license. In the table below you can see how these are applied. When teams or players have 0 points on their license, they’ll receive a ban for 1 month.

*In addition to not being able to participate in events and tournaments, the banned player will not be able to use any GAVRA ESports platform. If the admins find out that the banned player is using a secondary account and therefore continues to break the rules, he’ll receive a more severe penalty.

ReGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee is written in the info section page of the tournament. Money won’t be returned if you have changed your mind or are unable to participate. It is recommended to register only if you are sure you can participate.

PRIZES

A description of the prizes will be provided for each individual tournament. Prizes are non-transferable and not exchangeable for other prizes.

All taxes, gratuities and unspecified expenses are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners assume all liability for use of their prize(s).
